Yeah he's the hero. Granted it's a novella so in one moment the heroines talking about his STD status but let's him go home with her that night...the whole "you get one night" thing. She called him out on all the women and his excuse was "trying to find someone better but finally realized no ones better than you.."
So I count it as a partia win...she called him out but let him screw her anyways.
I wish all authors would have their h's react like that!
I read some books with fierce and sassy heroines who called the men out and shamed them, but two chapters after were giving him a bj. Why to write a cool woman and then almost immediately make her hormon-driven and pathetic. Who would blow a manwhore?! It's like to lick a public biffy... Eww. Sorry for the possible visuals...

Like I said to Cyndi I wish there would have been more push and pull but there's not a lot an author can write in 20 or less pages...
