A garish and yet enrapturing story. Every page has the most beautifully, if not grim, written prose. The combination of the gruesome story and gnarly tone with the intricate world and in-depth character profiles is encapsulating.
I have never read anything like it, and do not yet know if I will be brave enough to pick up anything like it again, and yet I cannot stop devouring every moment of this book.
