I can't believe how much I am enjoying this book. Intimidated for nothing

Virgil on the souls in Inferno:
"these people have no hope of dying ever,
And their blind life is so contemptible
That they would barter it for any other"

And then he says: okay so we've seen them now, shall we continue with the tour?
