I’m running into a feeling reading this that it almost feels like Ben Lerner ran into writing this (I’m projecting) which is understanding the impulse and need to document and explain shifting technologies (and aging) and the ways they drastically change our relationships to ourselves each other the world, but also how sad and cheap it all is… there’s a defeat and malaise in the exploration.
