Eww…having grown up with a Japanese mother and having been to Japan many times myself, it is uncomfortable for me to read of a character’s ‘shoes sticking to the tatami mats’ when it is very much against Japanese etiquette for shoes and even house slippers to be worn on tatamis. 🙅🏻‍♀️
