I recently watched the movie and found out it was based off of the book. I took it upon myself to read it and I do not regret it. The writing reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, which I am also curently reading. I think this would be a lovely bed time story for the dreaming child. I do have to mention that it is rather slow paced but so far worth the wait.
