It's soooo good so far, but very harrowing. Like a gut punch.

I am pretty sure you'll like it. It's very good. Colson Whitehead is a hell of a writer, and he did a shit ton of research for this book. I keep holding my breath. I want Cora to make it so badly, but America's dark history as a slave nation makes it very hard to hope. It hurts my heart as each new horror compounds.
