They start the ceremony&the last piece isAsar’s soul bc he is related to Alarus Mische has to finish the spell Atroxus watches her&hands her the arrow She uses it to kill him making night eternal Mische uses her powers to bring Asar back which upsets Nyaxia She leaves b4 the other gods arrive They are outraged&kill Mische Asar is chained by them Mische is in the underworld & Asar plans to get her back WOW

They make it to the gate of SactumSoul There is a field of red poppies&they share a beautiful moment It seemed a lot like goodbye idk if they will survive what they’re going to do Asar says he needs Mische’s help to necromance They pass through&soul is a thin stretch btw the living&the dead worlds Asar’s scars/eye has smth abt it Ophelia find them&Mische is able to calm her&help her pass on likeAsar helpedEomin

I’m scared for Asar & Mische Idk what this resurrection is going to do to them Asar said that they have all the relics&the 5th one will be the Soul Sanctum itself Weird I’m wondering if he just needed to get the arrow meant for Nyaxia&he used gaining the others as cover

Asar&Mische are reflections of each other They both were cast away from their homes & got scars in the process of try to fix broken things

They have nothing to do but wait out the wraiths on the other side of the door if the temple where the relic is Luce overexerted herself & needs to rest Asar&Mische find an altar room & do not 0.0
Mische wakes up to Atroxus seeing what she has done w Asar uh oh
I thought Atroxus couldn’t see so far down there bruh I hate his god he pisses me off

The house is attacked by Ophelia&wraiths They see Malach&Saescha Esme holds off the wraiths to let Asar&Mische escape into the next Sactum Secrets takes form of memories of fear/desire They both see different settings They are badly injured they rest in a little Morthryn room&drink from each other :P They go towards the building&inside face Ophelia Malach&Saescha They get thru&see the relic is already gone

Asar takes Mische to the last safety room inMorthryn The walk the thru theDescent to a house where Esme lives She was the last warden of Morthryn&became Asar’s friend/guide The house gives them imaginary comforts&Asar plays the piano for them! He plays a song for Mische that he made thinking of her&kisses her scars&tells her love isn’t supposed to hurt how Atroxus’ does They get interrupted by an explosion BOOM

Mische&Asar make it out of the blood river&run for the temple The relic is guarded by light which burns them both Mische goes in&fights a reflection of herself while Asar fights the wraiths This is a turning point for Mische bc the sun magic isn’t working so she has to embrace the shadows They get the relic &Mische is relieved to see Asar&she feels strongly for him but she looks down sees blood&she passes out

They enter Psyche&Asar gets an Heir Mark bc his dad dies Elias says finally&stabs him&pushes him into the blood rivers Mische jumps in after him&swims thru her memories Chandra pulls her from the blood but Mische jumps back in&leaves Chandra to be eaten by the vampire moms of the babies she sacrificed to Atroxus Mische sees Asar’s memories He necromanced Luce&tried the lady wraith Ophelia but failed&got the scars

Past the lady wraith is the relic guarded by gilded panthers Asar promises to honor their mission&restore the underworld so they let them passby When back@Morthryn Elias freaks bc he recognizes Asar knew the lady wraith&wants to use the relics for pwr against the other houses Asar comforts Mische abt Eomin&they cont to fix gates They are getting close to the psyche sanctum where it can play tricks on their minds

Asar said that Chandra had been in Morthryn as a prisoner for many years because she did something I think she was a midwife&she killed a vampire baby
I was saying that I’m having a little trouble reading this book because it’s hard to visualize where they are and what they’re doing but at the same time I’m getting a hang of it and then something happens and I get confused or thrown off
