If there is one thing I can't stand more than "I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding..." is characters who don't act like people actually do. It's the Sheriff's job. If the girls end up dead because he was angry he had to come down to the property at 3am, he won't be sheriff anymore. He'll be up on charges for not doing his job. There's just so much about the Female MC that irks me.
