Well, I am annoyed that Pa has had two hot meals with the Wilder boys and didn't bother to even think about his family starving down the street. For some reason that makes me pretty mad, Pa was supposed to be a hero, the ultimate father figure and he's just not. A strange realization for me, reading this as an adult.
