100% cringe - it had such good potential- but to be flippant and deliberately hurtful in emotional moments cannot be reconciled. No amount of “grovel” is worth the absolute intentional pain inflicted by that kind of rejection. Especially when it’s LITERALLY spelled out verbally. Sorry, not sorry. I feel cheated when I waste my time on a story that had incredible potential.
