I love Paxton, and she really didn't irritate me like most fmc. I do dislike when we write the fmc to just lose herself. Before the introduction of the mmc, she was powerful, in the streets, crazy and about her business. As soon as I met Ex I knew the expectation for her character growth would annoy me. I don't like when men's protection look like hiding. You MET HER IN THE STREETS? AND YOU ARENT HER NIGGA?
