Oh my goodness, this book is absolutely riveting. It is so fascinating to jump into the boots of a war photographer at the turn of the twentieth century, where publications assume photography is a less necessary art form now and where implicitly held rules against targeting journalists are essentially gone — even by the members of your home team. Such a great read.
