Omg this bar scene is so cringey. Is Anthony supposed to be autistic or is he like just the dumbest guy alive?

I'd probably be enjoying this a bit more if i could read it uninterrupted, but it's mostly bland so far? Typically you can read romance novels out of order but there might be vibe stuff I'm not getting bc I haven't. They also just kinda of get along too well so when there is friction it's a bit... unbelievable. I prefer third person writing but this this lacking too much interiority.
