Reg, watching [Johnnie's] retreating form, whistles a few bars of “Pretty Woman”. I raise a warning eyebrow at him.

“She’s not your type, Reg. She’s older than you, anyway.”

“Yeah, I know it. She’s lackin’ in music taste, like Rat – thinks Elvis is better’n the Fab Four.”

Rory scoffs. “Well, she’s right. Elvis is tuff, man.”

Reg shakes his head, grinning, and elbows Rory in the ribs. “You’re old-school, Rat; Elvis ain’t tuff anymore.”
