I've hardly been on GR in SO LONG - I'm not even active in my groups anymore 😣 but it just hasn't been the same since Finch and Cassie left 😭

Y'all does anybody know what happened to Cassie (aka casserole)? Her account is just gone and I'm really worried about her. 😭

Y'all . . .
I did it.
I finished writing the first draft of my WIP. 🥹

Ok since I just did a cover reveal for it, ask me anything about my WIP! I'll answer it as long as it's not spoilery 😁
(I miss being active on GR and yapping with y'all!)

You know you've written a good (?) character when he's as annoying to you as he is to the other characters around him. 😅

The squad in my WIP has an Elvis kid, a Beatles kid, and a Rolling Stones kid. The last one is by FAR the most trouble and I will be very glad once I don't have to deal with him anymore. 😅

I'm baaaaack peeps! What I miss?

Just letting y'all know that I will be on vacation for a while so I won't be *quite* as active! Stay gold y'all 🫶

(jumping on the trend hehehe . . .)

What character do I remind you of? 🫶 I probably won't know most of them but I'd love to hear what y'all think anyway 😂

Y'all, should I keep posting quotes from my WIP every Monday? I'm in a bit of a writing slump and haven't written much in a while. 😞

"here's a plant for u, you literally can't kill it"
you underestimate me. I can kill anything that isn't fake 😈😭

Weekly WIP quote! (in the comments)

Gang, today is the LAST DAY to enter the Victory Celebration book giveaway!
https://kingsumo.com/g/mn5rrvm/the-vi...

You know you're a nerd when . . . you do your hair in victory rolls for V-E Day. 😇
Happy 1-year anniversary to my WWII book, We Gave Our Tomorrows!

I filmed a video this morning talking about it, with information on a giveaway that only has TWO DAYS LEFT!

Am I a romantic? No, not at all. Do I still love listening to WWII-era songs about sweethearts missing each other? Yes, yes I do. 🙂‍↕️

*gasp* I forgot my WIP quote yesterday! 😱 I'm so sorry guys! 😭 I've been so busy with the Victory Celebration Blog Party that I completely spaced it, lol. Well anyway, here it is, a day late!

HELP why do I always end up writing the Christmas parts of my books at the wrong time of year 😭

Hey gang, I just posted a YT video about the Victory Celebration Blog Party and giveaway!

https://youtu.be/bcuVvt1QnTI

And we're off! The Victory Celebration blog party is kicking off today, with posts by yours truly, Savannah Jane McCrary (my co-host), and a handful of other bloggers. We're also running a GIVEAWAY of WWII Christian fiction books!!
Hop on over to one of our websites for more details and the giveaway entry!

I am legit SO HAPPY because some of my favorite GR peeps are reading one of my favorite books 😁😍🫶👏🥳 *does a little dance* 🕺💃🕺💃

I love using Battalion records to find incidents to write about because they record stuff that you just can't make up 😂

HELP it's snowing 😭

Weekly WIP quote! ⬇️

Your girlie likes The Outsiders so much . . . she has Dally and Johnny as Legos. 🤭

Between work and writing, my search history is really weird . . . trust me, you don't wanna know 😂

WIP quote of the week! ⬇️

I saw Mereda do this and I loved it, so let's start a new trend!

To quote the elves of Middle Earth, "...for we put the thought of all that we love into all that we make."
I do as well, which is why my books are filled with:

Jesus
heroes
cats
found family
hugs
coffee
adventure
history
trees
descriptions
thunderstorms
weapons
agape love
forgiveness
music

(stealing from my peeps hehe)
Ways to summon me:

"Jesus"
"cats"
"history"
"books"
"flea market"
"writing"
"lavender"
"Combat!"
"Bing Crosby"
"Elvis"
"military"
"Kentucky"
"WWII"
"camo"
"guns"
"stabby things"
"mother hen"
"stay gold"
"coffee"
"violin"
"fistfight"
"Fernando Ortega"
"Italy"
"wargames"
"sunsets"
"everything is awesome!"

A friendly reminder: next month I'm doing an "interview" with the characters from We Gave Our Tomorrows. I need to start writing that soon, so if you have questions that you want them to answer, please send them to me! 😊

My WIP's vibes in emojis:
