Piper and Bush are both back with the squad, bringing us back up to our full complement. Bush is all too glad to be out of the hospital, where he was incredibly bored, and into the action again. Somehow he found a pair of camouflage pants, which Rory is a little jealous of.
“Why can’t us guys in the field get camouflage stuff issued to us?” he complains. “We’re the ones that need ‘em, not the dumb Arvin police or the clerks in Saigon.”
“Dontcha know, Rat, bein’ a clerk is real dangerous,” Reg answers with a straight face. “You gotta blend in with the typewriters or you get yelled at by the brass.”
