For my writing project, I was writing historical fiction during WWII bombing, and tried to search up what a bomb sounded like going off......my school blocked the page, lol.

Lol! 😂 Thankfully I use a personal computer so I don't have those problems. If you need to look up sound effects, ZapSplat has a lot of explosions, but not all of them are very accurate. 😆
I had to look up what a Screaming Mimi rocket launcher sounded like . . . I found some WWII footage of them firing, and MAN, they're terrifying!

Yeah, they're pretty useful - my brother and I have downloaded a TON of sound effects for our stopmotion videos. 🤭

They really are! 😱 (It made me ridiculously happy though when they were in an episode from an old tv show I watch . . . 🤭)

Combat! - it's from the early 60s, with Vic Morrow and Rick Jason. Most of the episodes are kinda meh but I love the characters, it's my comfort watch 😊

I love it because it's the closest I can get to WWII movies while still being clean. 😅 Let me know if you decide to watch it and I can give you some good episodes to start with!
