That's the thing about hauling a lot of second hand romance books 📚 when you're in a romance mood is you have to read them even when you're not anymore. Anyway, so far so good 💙🧡 But really even during that era who calls their son Wulfric. The character naming in this novel is so distracting.

I'm getting the impression that neither Wulfric nor Christine are helping themselves here. I'm wondering if this is supposed to be the miscommunication trope, but that is difficult to do since most of it is so easily explained away. Here they are making it more difficult than it should be

LMAOOO Wulfric!! I never thought about how ridiculous the name is. I was really forward to his book after Slightly Married, but I was so disappointed when I read it. I'm glad you're enjoying it <3

I'm glad you're enjoying it <3"The Wulfric thing is annoying me, the name was popular in the anglo saxon era, so pre1066. It is beyond out of date for someone born in the circa 1780s. Well, its not bad, but I understand you were hoping for a bit more. I can't comment on Slightly Married because as usual I'm reading this series out of order 🤣😁
I read out of order too!!! I read this after reading Slightly Married lmao 🤣 If you continue the series I’ll be looking out for the ones that are worth it because I only read two books out of the series.

I optimistically got several when I had this second hand deal and so I should finish a few more in the next couple of months.
