Makes perfect sense that he was the primary writer for the screenplay because he recycled much of this word for word. Would’ve been super cool if they could’ve gotten Al Pacino, and or James Caan to record some of this. Idk when this was recorded but Marlon Brando is probs out of the question

This is such a boys book. If they had such an explicit scene in a book written by a woman they’d just call it mafia smut instead of a “crime novel”. I do appreciate this more than the movie so far tho bc I had to watch the movie with no subtitles and had like no clue who anyone was
