I enjoy Agatha Christie and have heard of, but never read the Lord Peter Wimsy series but none of the other authors. Dorothy's impulsiveness and inability to keep quiet is annoying.

"A large woman of indeterminate age - she could be 25 or 40 -" Yes, that is what "indeterminate age" means. So tired of all these writers using repetitive phrasing. Benedict does it a lot too, "I nod in agreement" and the like.
Also, for crying out loud, how did it take THIS long for any of them to see that May changed her clothes before leaving? This lot is utterly daft.
