Rowley is writing a fantasy quest about a character named Roland and his sidekick, Garg the Barbarian, who are trying to save Roland's mom from the White Warlock. Rowley wants more of a classic fairy tale, while Greg pushes for violent twists or product tie-ins to make money. Although, I did agree with Greg's critique of the damsel in distress trope. A helpless princess definitely feels dated Rowley!
