Continuing my tradition of needing to take a multi week break before suffering through the end

Don't worry bestie, I will be plenty angry for the two of us

#throwback to when I met a mom with a daughter named "Briseis." When I asked her if she had named her after the character in the Illiad, she replied "idk, but she was Achilles priestess lover" and then chatted about the importance of strong women and uplifting our daughters
Which, absolutely. But that's just an interesting + mostly incorrect interpretation for something you literally named your kid after

I'm so in love with Briseis it's unhealthy

Actually, interest IS a form of kindness. And I'd argue Achilles does lack that in multiple areas.

The "I'm going to be the first [hero who was happy]" moment immediately being interrupted by the horn literally heralding the beginning of the end is some cruel and immediate transition

In a moment of extreme mental fortitude and wonderful emotional stability, I have re-started my beloved 🥰
