"Of herbs and stewed rabbits" has to be one of the best chapters I have ever read. Tolkein was in his bag.

For now I will say I enjoyed this much more than fellowship. There is great stuff in here about friendship, bravery, ecology, the importance of going slow, temptation, and of course, some epic battles.
