The biggest problem and straight to the point I had with Twilight is its technique. As though the Purple prose wasn't enough on top of everything else Meyer has a Style that effectively tells rather than shows, In other words we're told outright Bella loves Edward for instance, rather than through her actions towards him, shown it. and I'm not necessarily talking s*x Plenty of other ways to show it.
