So now we are talcking Frankfurt school. This guys are crazy. The author dedicates a section for Negative Dialectics, spares me the mental health to read it. This is clearly the ideology we call today woke, it is an anti intelectual hegelian religion.

The author shows how Lukas, Korsck and their pupils pot back Hegel in Marx, but also how they switched Marxism bac from scientific (Engle simplification) to anti intelectual. The current word to describe them is woke.

And we arrive at Gramsci. A infamous figure for many conservatives. I feel good reading about his work without reading his work. Yet I do not get it, why the modern left holds in such esteem individuals with such contradictory and inconsistent views. The guys ideas are clearly seductive and dangerous, but I am amazed how some people are not bothered by the contradictions, and superficial depth of his work.

Just finished the Chapter on Sorel. I read his main book, Reflection on Violence, but to my shame I can not say I truly understood the guy.
I now see how he is the one who reformed marxism into proto fascism.
