I just started, and it's the dreaded 1st person present narration, and so far it's too realistic for me (as in urban fantasy/paranormal), but let's try to get to 10/15% before we make final judgments.

-> Writing style is pretty addicting and fluent, but the thought process of the FMC is subpar
