As I work my way through SKs work, my eye has a different view on this reread. I've easily caught many references to previous works. But now, I've found my first reference to a future work. Haven is mentioned, decades before we visit it.

I've been reading King since age 8, starting with The Shining, that I swiped from my sister's bookshelf without anyone noticing. That one made me a solid King fan and gave me bad dreams for weeks, but nothing prepared me for Pet Semetary, which remains the scariest of the scary King novels for me and I'm now 57. A lifelong King reader. I loved everything about this book. I was about 12 I think, when I read this for the first time. Enjoy your read!
