guys I wanna read this so bad and it’s already so interesting and the writing is like 100/100 but I’m such a speed reader that I’m literally zoning out trying to read this and then I realize I have no idea what happened and I have to reread the same paragraph four times…

@Shades I’m excited to read it! I started it but only got 17 pages in before stopping bc I couldn’t focus. Hopefully BR it will make me keep reading!

@Finch It did take me a bit to get into as well, but it's worth it (even if I figured out the plot immediately 🤪)
I've had such interesting experiences with this book... I really should give it another read.

Yay enjoy!!! Also if you want a really good experience, I’d immersive read with the audiobook on Audible. It has background music, sound effects, and it made my reading experience ten times better

It was definitely one of my favorites as well! Until that reread. lol. Which made me unsure. It's part of why I'd like to do a reread of it: I'd like to be more settled on what I actually think of it :-p.

I mean, in terms of being a gorgeously written, wonderfully paced, poignant, insightful, thrilling masterpiece, there's no question.
@MeredaAh, okay. That makes sense! I only got a tad irritated because I figured out the plot right away (like, as soon as she met Maxim...), but I still loved the way it came out in the end lol.
