Khan-Ryn has lived in the forest his whole life. Raised among the trees as a Warrior of the Wood he will do anything to protect his home. Persecuted by a jealous queen, Khan-Ryn and his people have to choose between staying hidden or finally fighting back. But with war comes death and fire. Is he willing to risk it for something that feels impossible?

This is book one in a medieval duology I am planning to write. I don’t want to give to many details yet, but once I finish my other WIPs you will all be hearing a lot more about Khan-Ryn:)

A little bit of a teaser for yall:

Khan-Ryn is a natural leader, excellent swordsmen, crack shot archer, and smart strategist. But more than that, he’s a new husband, a writer, an artist, and a friend. Preferring words to weapons, he wished real battles could be as easily won as fictional ones. But his life of peace is only a passing daydream. As a Warrior of Würmer, he is supposed to fight for his home, especially as the jealous Queen seeks to eradicate his people’s existence. Caught up in a civil war, he must protect his family and homeland, else it all burns to the ground.

Aww, I love that he’s married! It’s sadly rare to see main characters in healthy marriages (*i say knowing full well i’m writing an arranged marriage*). He sounds amazing!
