How many damn times can Lucy almost die?? That ish was so repetitive. You’d have thought she didn’t 4 near death experiences for the dudes to realise she needs even more supervision or sumn. Van Helsing bro cmon. I wanna hear more about Renfield cuz he’s crazy but a character I didn’t hear about before and ye let’s get a bit of a move on. Surely Dracula has more plans than just to feed on Lucy.

This book is class up until Vampire Lucy gets killed, then it’s just a lot of yap from Van Helsing and Mina advocating for men’s rights cuz men are the best thing ever created (side eye). ofc she’s only able to appreciate them properly bcs she also has a “man” brain which is why she’s acc smart enough for them.

Ok this ish has finally picked up in pace and was actually quite intriguing. Haven’t heard many depictions of vampires crawling on walls like lizards or controlling wolves so that’s new.
