I want this book to be overr 😭😭😭 but I’ve come so far and don’t want to quit now 😔

I’m still not very positive on this book… but I do like Chaol a bit more now, I appreciate Yrene, and like Chaol and Yrene together 👍🏻

I’m kinda interested in the Yrene and Chaol storyline, but tbh this late in the series I really don’t care for the new side characters. And Nesryn too tbh. This book is still hard to get through 🫠 I just want to get to kingdom of ash

I like Yrene so far! When I remembered her from assassin’s blade my mind was blown.
The book still kinda bores me though so I’m going through this one slowly.

I’m giving this book an honest try but I really don’t like Chaol 😭 he’s so self-righteous, then he’s depressed when he learns loyalty is maybe not always the morally right choice, is now conflicted about morality but keeps telling Aelin she’s making the morally wrong choice. And now at the start of this book he’s just depressed. I assume he will have a character arc in this book but man.
