Ok what’s happening. Why is she still at this school it’s a liberal arts school and she wants to be an environmentalist??? I’m not convinced there’s a good enough reason for this plot to be happening. Clearly based on the societies serial killer actions there is something besides “we hate this family” going on and we are not actually mentioning it AT ALL???? This feels like too small of a school to exist

“Who knew college would mean so much discussion” Hi I’m going to be honest you cannot pitch this as dark academia AND have your character talk about how important college is to her and how badly she wants to go and then have her actually not like academia. Like she can not appreciate the weird stuff happening but she needs to like the CORE of what academia is 😭. Otherwise it’s just a thriller AT college.

Hey so I’m unironically very interested that the “familial rage” that this book will be discussing is not coming from “I hate my parents and they suck” However we’ve swung TOO far and now there’s no boundaries. Why are BOTH sets of parents WAY too comfortable talking about their sex lives with ALL THE CHILDREN.
