Life has forged voraciously forward over the last month, with opportunity to turn a page or two in this delightful story often escaping me. But ironically, as Cricket and her father’s lives have picked up over the last several chapters, I find myself settling in life and enthralled in this delightful tale. Oh, and great writing!

Tactful and restrained, which I like! These last few chapters marked with hidden gems of wisdom and concluding with real propulsion to the forthcoming scenes. Enjoyable as the end draws near and the action rises, though with the gentleness typical of Catwood Pond.
