All that being said, I already know Marcella is a vampire and is the villain. But she’s such a romantic villain. I don’t know if I’ll hate her when the time comes. I’m utterly charmed.

Okay. I can see how I could have read this book without engaging in it. It’s entertaining and it’s fast paced but I don’t know if it stays with you after. It’s a classic beach read.
