I see why this is a classic. The critiques of authoritarianism are plain as day. The persecution of the proletariat (whether under capitalism or communism) are central tenants to the success of those in power. The people have the power to rise up, only if they could recognize that they already possess that ability. Knowledge and control of the narrative is power.
