I love how the perspective is changing by the book. There is alot of world building going on here even while the two previous main characters are still in it.

SEVERAL YEARS LATER... I finally made it through the first book. Woo-hoo! I love this story I really do but every time I put the book down I forget it even exists. This must be how so many people don't know about octavia butler. It's some kind of dark magic. Regardless I will show perseverance and make it through this series, Damn it! If Duffy and Jennings ever make a graphic novel out of this though I'm all over it.
