Very sweet story of loss, hardship, and friendship (so far). The narration is very detailed, too much perhaps in some places — there is no need to give a step by step account of every climbing in & out of a carriage.

Small but noticeable use of modern idioms >> stonewalling, feeling “shaky”, others I can’t recall now…
