Im getting into the romance. I feel like the plot has stumbled and sagged a little bit past the midpoint...
Melanie isnt my favorite, or the best writer, but she's acceptable and unless she smashes the ending with a splitting maul then Ill prolly keep reading her books periodically.

I have a lot more appreciation for the ship now... but this is definitely a Christian story.

Somehow a YA audience author already surpassed an Adult audience author in edginess. At least it was non-descript. But situationally it was a little more edgy than almost anything Cossette has written. Love Connilyn Cossette. Highly reccomend.

I expected too much. Ill ship them... but the amount of info dumping in the first three chapters was a turn off. Ill forgive though. Other critiques... Teutonic Knights really werent that impressive in battle #1 and the immediacy of her noticing how attractive Wolfgang is and how soon the Duke Konrad heard about them was really really sad... but... Im on board and committed and my critiques won't stop me yet.
