Meags I chuckled hard over this status. I love me some Anyta but I think I spend the first 40% of all her books looking around asking wtf is up… until, miraculously I assimilate to the often discombobulating writing style and suddenly I’m obsessed. It’s a really hard experience to describe to people. Like, some authors writing you understand exactly what the issue is as you’re reading but with Anyta I always find it hard to pinpoint what I’m struggling with. Not sure if that makes sense. But hopefully, if you stick with it, it gets better?! (But also know, those fantasy books you’re talking about, all start off with a “WTF is even happening right now?” vibe. Best be warned). Godspeed to you in this endeavour, Noah.

ngl that has me a bit worried lmaoo but I've been keeping a list of all the ways reading this makes me feel (none of it positive lol) but I'll try to keep an open mind!! Who knows, maybe it'll all click for me :)

Meags It’s certainly is not clicking for a lot of people, I see from the reviews. Her style is definitely a love or hate situation, historically speaking. Honestly, if it’s causing you grief to struggle through, maybe reconsider those fantasy options 😂

Meags …and to be clear, I’m saying that as someone who ended up loving the fantasy stuff. But I can still see how the writing just won’t be for (most) everyone.

If the fantasy stuff is the King’s Man series, I still think it’s ABSOLUTELY worth the read, despite what others have said. It was probably my favourite fantasy read of last year, so no regrets on my end, even though, when I started, I complained about the confusing writing, too. It smoothed out quick enough for me to dig in and love it before long.

Noah @Meags: that's good to know!! I do have the first few on my Kindle, so I'll def give it a try eventually :) :)
