I am truly amazed at how well the manhwa adapts this series because that conversation with Callisto and Penelope really was word-to-word in the manhwa of that scene!

Also the Duke really is growing and absolutely loved how he there Derrick under the bus because YES! He realizes how horribly Derrick treats her!!

Wish I wasn’t so tired and could read the rest! The novel continues to be as engaging as the manhwa!

I hate Derrick so so so much…

At least the scene with Winter was extremely sweet 🥹 Also the conversation with Reynold and how he’s acting like a REAL brother (unlike someone else…🙄)

I forgot how great the banter is between Penelope and Callisto! SO GOOD! 🤭

But ugh, I totally saw red when Derrick told his father he doesn’t bully or hate Penelope because what a bunch of hogwash!! 😠

Penelope’s fear of Callisto is even stronger then what I recall in the manhwa! I’m definitely reminded of why I was absolutely terrified for her!
