I’m halfway through City of Iron and Ivy and can’t neatly categorize it…which might be why I love it.
It blends historical weight with something atmospheric and mysterious, shifting just when I think I understand it.
I want more Elsweth and Silas... there’s something quiet and not fully revealed about them.
And Kehinde? I really like him. He brings a steady, grounded strength as her trainer and friend...or is he?
