Some of the best writing I have seen - spooky freaky

I’m enjoying this book very much thus far. I tried to start reading it a couple of years ago, but I was just then trying to return to reading and did not get too far.

I’m reading this book with threefold intention.
-Out of personal interest
-Reading alongside friends taking a Gothic literature class
-In memoriam my late friend from high school - he prized this book
