for a book that’s 400 pages there’s so little storytelling. it’s a lot of “i did this, this, and that” “and then i did this and then i did that.” u don’t need to spell everything out exactly & showing instead of just telling is so important

why wouldn’t u include “my honorary aunt” in the next paragraph where u explain her backstory. “my mom laughed and i shook my head at my honorary aunt” is such an odd sentence

oh right of course the absolute chokehold. already reading way too fictionally i hate it.
