For his purposes he is always calling this "Adam and Eve's fall," but his own religion has consistently framed this around Eve. This man is already biased and exaggerating, but now he's also kind of maneuvering things to fit his narrative. He didn't need to do this, he could have just gone with the facts, I guess that's what's really annoying about this book

Omg he's arguing that what made the biblical creation story different from other religions, specifically with humans, was the EQUALITY. men and women getting to rule equally over the earth! Are you kidding? This ignores the patriarchal framework of the entire religion, and everything inequal about Eve, made from a man's rib, cause of original sin, cursing women. Sure, humans aren't slaves for the gods, but equal??

Oh great, let's talk about Jordan Peterson, that will give you book more credibility...

He's talking about how some people and insurance companies value people with "more life" over people with "less life," i.e. a 9 year old vs a 99 year old, but anyone could die at any moment regardless of age...

This guy loves taking about rape

He seems to have gone from villifying the Romans to embracing their culture of religion being part of their politics and everyday lives

He's continuing the Christian tradition of exaggerating their degradation by the Romans...

So far my main take away is, "So what?" And if he doesn't answer that question by the end of the book I'm going to be really annoyed...
