I get that he's been suspended, but why doesn't he call the precinct?

There are so many questionable things in this.

The way the author includes stereotypes about women, gay men, people of color...

This dude is so gross. Who follows a colleague home for a booty call. And then decides to sleepover without being asked!?

The way this author is writing this woman cop is so disrespectful and bizarre. I might have to DNF soon. I'm kind of only reading right now because I wanna write a scathing review

The "romance" is skeevy.

I HATE that Gutierrez was taken off this case. What was the author thinking? I get he wants to pair the two lust birds together, but why does he have to disrespect the woman cop? She was awesome. What's gonna happen to her? And how does she get caught now!? Make that make sense.

This hookup scene feels off and exploitative. The dude knows the other guy is on a drug and he makes moves on him!? Gross.
