I mean the last chapter wasn’t so bad. I liked the story that Blush told. I mean it was a sad story but I felt like it was one of the only times I was fully engaged with the book.

Honestly this book just confuses me and I keep getting lost. I hate the “i want you should take this”. Like I get what Palahniuk is trying to do but it ain’t working.

Also how the hell has Meredith gotten an audition? So weird

What is going on. How did the scream make the others copy it and even cause buildings to collapse. I don’t understand how Dr Adamah killed all these people, even the recording sounded like Mitzi did it? Also why is Blush helping Foster? It makes no sense. Why is everyone in this book so two faced?

I don’t know if I’m just being stupid and not following the book properly but I’m so confused man

There’s no way that that a celebrity would ever do this. And why did the security guard let him in? None of this makes sense like what

Why is everyone in this book so insufferable man. I actually vehemently despise all the characters. I get in a bad mood after reading this honestly. I guess that means Palahniuk is good at what he’s doing

I feel so bad for Foster. What he did with the girl on the plane is unforgivable but as someone who’s reading the book and not in their world, I feel so bad for him. Especially because of the people at the funeral. Could they not realise then that the guy isn’t crazy, he’s just depressed? They had what was coming for them when he pulled out the gun honestly

I’m glad people avoided Mitzi.

Yo wtf is wrong with everyone in this book. I think Palahniuk is trying to make us uncomfortable and it’s definitely working.

Foster needs to get a hold of himself. There was no reason to make fake Lucinda that scared. I understand that he’s severely mentally ill but still. I hope the people at the support group get through to him. Or maybe he’s quit that now?

What an interesting book so far. I think it’s meant to shock you, and it has docked me so far

I don’t really like any of the characters but I think it’s meant to be like that. I hate Mitzi the most, her arrogance and cockiness is actually infuriating. I feel bad for Foster, he’s clearly damaged and not coping with it well at all.

I wonder how this will play out
