It took a bit to get the rhythm of the book with how lyrical the writing and descriptors are, but I am really enjoying it. There’s something very captivating about it. Red learning more about letters and living (cyborg body) especially. Also two opposing societies. Red is dystopian tech and Blue is self described as forest elf

Uh, that’s a child you just kissed you freaking weirdo. Doesn’t matter if you were transferring the antivenom. The author(s) totally could have gone with a kiss on the forehead (like a motherly kiss) and Red pricking her finger so a drop of blood could fall into child Blue’s mouth

Wait…. Is the seeker someone apart of whatever command is sending them on missions? I always thought it was blue or red (who ever wrote the letter) coming back to dispose of any evidence

As someone who does fiber arts, how can something be more crochet than weaving? 🤨 Crochet is loops that are pulled through themselves over & over & there’s only ever one “live” loop. Weaving is using a loom of some kind to stabilize a bunch of threads next to one & other & you take more thread & perpendicularly weave it through the other threads. These two things share no similarities other than thread/yarn

Definitely requires focus to follow all the metaphor but I am loving the challenge. Reading the ebook helps because I can highlight all of the words I have never heard before (dirigible, for example, is another word for airship similar to a blimp)
