I love it when MC straight up make it clear they think about each other. No beating around the bush. It’s of course a forbidden love since she’s married (to a cheater) so the book will have the angst needed to keep us hooked

Wow that’s a rushed ending. I figured the ex husband would make things difficult and agonizing. You get a few sentences summarizing time passed and he’s in prison… this book isn’t very moving in general

This book is the embodiment of “I don’t follow what I preach”. As a therapist, but does she dish out advice she can’t follow. Yes, she admits to it but bro he cheated on you twice and you go back like a door mat with the excuse of staying for her step daughter. She attached her happiness to Gabriel then Ava then back to Gabriel which is the only reason why she finds courage to move forward with a divorce!
