Can these female characters just shut the f up? I don't see vin getting angry for having an helping hand, no these characters hardly even register the need to be thankful, instead their angry to be helped, I wouldn't even mind them dead.

I'm feeling really mixed on this one, like extremely mixed on it.

SO SO.

This tale has it's good parts, i can see the parts that people praise, but more and more, I finding those elements annoying.

most of the characters to whom oaths are sworn are simply not worthy in my eyes. Fidele is not worth Maquin loyalty, his whole character is now oriented towards her which makes him boring, this would no doubt work for many as healing but I find it tidious.

This series is one of the most beloved fantasy series. I know that much.

So it really pains me that since I resumed reading it from book 2, it has been a tiresome affair.

Corban and his fellows are really boring, they feel like paper cut out of the good side and the way they prove it is so boring and tasteless.

I think it only works because that's how the author wants it to be so it works.

I've not been enjoying the: "That's what makes us better than them bs!"

I also find I don't really care for Corban and the villains are generally more entertaining than the protagonists, I'm not the biggest fan of the female characters here as well, they just aren't working with me.

Overall, I'm having trouble committing, same thing happened with Valor, hopefully I can get the zone for this!
